I hope you are well and I am writing to thank you for your help and for the appartment we rented from you in MOYKA. |
Being first time visitors to St. Petersburg the website information was excellent regarding finding a location, the photographs being a true representation of the apartment.
We were met by Alexey on arrival, who was more than helpful in providing information on where to go, where to eat.
Constant contact enabled us to inform him of changes and delays in our plans. And nothing was too much trouble.
An excellent service and a pleasure to deal with spbapt.com

Spbapt's service is very prompt and accurate.
A very trustworthy company with good value for money apartments. I have used several agents in St.Petersburg and Spbapt is clearly the best.

We can highly recommend furnished apartments provided by Alex (+7 812 973 1623) and Oxana in the historical center of St. Petersburg. Our two bedroom apartment on the ground floor at Fontanka 47 was only 200 meters from the city’s main throughfare (Nevsky Prospekt), yet situated next to the quiet Fontanka canal. |

Alexey and Oksana; Thank you for everything.
The service was first rate and caring from the beginning inquiry to the ride
back to the
airport and every step along the way. The apartment was clean and a safe and
comfortable haven to come home to every night of our stay. When we return to
St Petersburg, I will definetely use this service again.
I have already referred friends to your website.
Thank you again,

I would like to say thank you to Alex and his staff.
He was a most gracious host and made my stay in St.Petersburg most enjoyable. He went above and beyond the call to make sure that everything went perfect, even upgrading me to a nicer place when the flat that I rented was unavailable because of things out of his control. I will use his services on my future trips.

Hi Alex and Oksana,
Thanks again for a great week!

My apartment was nice and easy to get to. It is close enough to everything
(historical center). The rooms are updated, and the bathroom(s) and bed
were huge. The bed was very comfortable. Safe and quite appartment. I would
recommend this company to anyone. I found it through their website and
booked over e-mail and Western Union. Prices were great .People are friendly
and professional. Better values for the same money are NOT available all
over Sankts Petersburg. I would stay there again and again.

Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed my time in St Petersburg. I have been to your beautiful city three times before, but always stayed in hotels. The apartments are a great idea, it allows the visitor to feel like a resident of St Petersburg and not just a tourist. I would have no difficulty in recommending your apartments, and I hope to return to St Petersburg in the not to distant future.

Angela Rippon from BBC, UK, visited the Russian city of St Petersburg as it prepares to celebrate its 300th anniversary.
St Petersburg is Russia's second city. Before Peter the Great began to build his new Russian capital 300 years ago, there was nothing there but swampland. Even though it's a lot younger than most capital cities, you get the feeling that it's made the most of its 300 years. Wherever you look, you see evidence that this is a city with a past.
Head for the Hermitage
Most visitors head straight for the palatial State Hermitage in the city centre, and its vast collection of art. This means that long queues can be common. The sheer opulence of the Hermitage really has to be seen to be believed though. To take in everything on show you'll have to cover a distance of 24 miles. Extraordinary, considering that 95% of its 3 million art works are in storage due to lack of space.
They have one of the biggest single collections of Rembrandts in the world here: 24, all bought by Katherine the Great. Over 2 million visitors a year visit the Hermitage, and at the height of the season, big queues surround the masterpieces.
See the Idiot
he city's renovations are on a grand scale in keeping with St Petersburg, where everything is massive, including where Angela stayed, the Hotel Moskova. This hotel is situated in a great location in the heart of the city. The hotel is very spacious, both inside and out. The corridors go on for miles and are a real throwback to the old communist era. The rooms, like the rest of the hotel, are clean and practical, with no frills.
Beside the River Moyka is the Idiot restaurant, which takes its name from one of the novels of Dostoyevsky, St Petersburg's most famous literary resident. This is a favourite restaurant with ex-pat Brits, so there are menus in English, and a choice of traditional Russian, or vegetarian food. Angela tried some typical Russian food - borsch (soup), blinis and caviar, with vodka - all for about Ј6.
The next morning, she took a 40-minute trip by hydrofoil to visit the gardens of Petrodvorets, or Petergof as it used to be known, Peter the Great's summer palace. Petrodvorets is like a cross between the gardens of Versailles in Paris and a Florida water park. More than 150 fountains of all shapes and sizes are dotted around its immaculate gardens, which are a big draw in the summer months.
Back in St Petersburg, it was time for some shopping at the daily tourist market located just off Nevsky Prospekt. You can pick up everything there, from matryoshka dolls to rather unusual chess sets. No visitor should leave without taking in a live performance. Angela recommended the ballet; like Swan Lake at the Mussorgsky Theatre.
Verdict: A visit to St Petersburg is not unlike coming to the ballet. It has grace and elegance on a grand scale. You don't have to be able to speak Russian to be able to navigate your way around and it's something that everyone should try and do just once. It's an experience that you won't regret.
